Your Pet's StoryWe adopted this very young white Australian Shepherd at the Catawba County Animal Shelter. Sunny was 10 months old and had just came in the program. He was actually not in the regular cell areas. My family knew we were looking for something special. I asked what was kept in the closed buildings and was told those dogs were not ready to be adopted. I immediately wanted to see the dogs. We walked in a saw this beautiful, timid and so sweet of a demenar. Just could not imagine where he came from. My husband, myself and two kids 13 and 10 have been blessed to have Sunny in our life. He is a true sweetheart and will turn 8 on his next birthday. Sunny has been through two acl surgeries and the were three months apart. He did amazing during recovery and received a lot of pampering for many months to come. He is our sweet soul.
