Rules

“Show Your Tiger Pride” Photo Contest Rules:

1.  Photographs must be original photographs that include images of how an individual or group “shows their pride for Saltillo's Tiger Mascot and the community of Saltillo.”  Use school colors, mascot images, and positive content on how school pride is displayed.

2.  Photos must be taken at locations in Saltillo, Mississippi.

3.  All Photo Contest Entries must be received by 5:00PM Central Time, Friday, November 15, 2024.

4. Participants may enter multiple photo entries, and every $1.00 Photo Contest Entry Fee must be received before each photo entry is posted and eligible for public voting.

5. All Photo Contest Entries must be school-appropriate in all content and adhere to all of the policies and procedures outlined by the Lee County and Saltillo Elementary School Handbooks.  No photos will be accepted that do not clearly follow all policies, rules, and regulations set by LCSD or Saltillo Elementary.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  If you have to question whether or not an entry is appropriate, it is probably NOT APPROPRIATE to submit.

6.  Money will not be refunded for any Photo Contest Entries that are deemed "inappropriate" and have to be removed from the contest site by contest administrators.

7.  No money will be refunded to any Photo Contest Participants.  Once a photo entry is received, and posted to the contest, the transaction is final.

8.  There is a .30 transaction fee (approximately 2.9%) collected by Stripe Merchant Processors for every transaction.  Multiple votes are encouraged to be included within one single transaction to avoid the charge of numerous transaction fees. Fees are automatically applied to each transaction through Stripe.

9.  The participant is responsible for obtaining all copyright permissions on all images, graphics, logos, maps, etc. submitted by third parties acting on the behalf of the participant in the Photo Contest.  Photos with copyright disputes will be removed from the site until the contest closes or the copyright dispute is resolved, whichever is first.  Saltillo Elementary School retains all rights to the “Show Your Tiger Pride” Photo Contest, its contest entries, and information.

10.  "Show Your Tiger Pride" Photo Contest Winners will be notified within 5 days of the closing date of the contest.  Prizes must be picked up at Saltillo Elementary School's campus.  No prizes will be delivered or mailed.
