Your ProfileJanet Burdick is a studio member of the Artists League of the Sandhills. She works in colored pencil and pastel. Janet has been painting full time since 1998 after retiring as an RN specializing in Neonatal intensive Care. She and her husband moved from Miami, FL to Pinehurst, NC in 1997.

The Story Behind My AmericaMy favorite time of year is Spring. I feel as though it is a time of starting over, of rebirth. It excites me to see the dogwood trees open their bracts to welcome the warmer weather and to oversee the the blooming of so many other beautiful plants at this beautiful time of year.
