PATH Shelter's 4th Annual "Tattoo Me" Fund Raiser

The 4th annual "Tattoo Me" Fund Raiser is afoot.  It's a little later than usual because... well frankly, I'm worried. The first 3 tattoos, (A ballerina unicorn, a heart w/arrow through it and a banner that says "Your Mom", and an alien in a leprechaun suit, drinking an Arnold Palmer being beamed up) were all pretty mild tattoos. It's only a matter of time before one of you wins with a truly awful idea.  But the need for the PATH Shelter are greater than my ego so, here I stand before you, a strangely tattooed man.

We decided to mix it up a bit though since no one likes to sell or buy raffle tickets (If we are being honest with ourselves).  Instead, anyone can submit a tattoo idea by uploading the image (Click the "ENTER" Button to the right).  Once your photo is approved, people can vote for it. Each vote costs $1. It's up to you to promote your idea because if your idea ends up as one of the top 3, you will win a cash prize! (See Prizes above).  The one with THE MOST votes is the one I will have to get.

So it is in your best interest to promote your entry.  Post about it on Facebook by sharing the link. Share it to all your social media accounts!  Tell (both) your friends about it!  Tag your favorite celebrity weirdo on the link you share.  Your Aunt that thinks tattoos are bad? Don't share it with her, but maybe your cousin with a half sleeve? Yeah they'd like to this.

The PATH Shelter, for those that don't know, is a 26 bed homeless shelter in Ketchikan, Alaska - one of the rainiest cities in the country.  We serve clients 365 days a year, operating on a very tight budget. These funds will help us keep the lights on and the building warm through the long Alaskan winter.  We serve around 180 individuals a year, providing a warm, safe bed, laundry facilities, kitchen facilities and making donated food available for clients to eat each evening.  We offer clients a temporary reprieve so they can get back on their feet.  We serve Men, Women and occasionally families with children.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for submitting an idea (Even if it makes me smile that fake smile we do when we don't really like the gift we were just given), and for promoting the fundraiser in general.  Every vote and dollar helps us in our mission.
