Rules
The online Pug Nation Calendar Costume Contest is meant for fun, a way to share our beloved Pugs with each other and is a crucial fundraiser for Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles, a nonprofit 501(c)3 rescue organization.
- There is no cost to submit a photo.
- Please do not include humans in the photos.
- There is no limit of entries per person however you may want to enter only one time to consolidate your votes.
- Entrants who submit materials that are copyrighted by another individual are responsible for legal action taken against them by the copyright holder
- You must be 18 or over to submit a picture
- All photos become property of Pug Nation Rescue and may be used in our marketing materials whether on-line or printed
- Once photos are submitted, they cannot be retracted
- This contest is open to everyone!
- Acceptable photos are .jpeg or .gif
- Photos must not be edited or altered other than coloring, contrast, etc
- Any content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent or obscene will be removed, including pictures depicting animals which appear to be sick, injured, under stress or in danger. No refunds for votes will be given.
- We encourage entrants to vote for their own entries.
- Pug Nation is not responsible for any technical problems or for late, lost, incomplete, stolen or misdirected entries.
- No limit on voting.
- Each dollar donated to a pet’s campaign represents one (1) vote.
- The minimum donation to acquire votes is five dollars ($5), which equals five (5) votes. Votes may be applied to a single photograph or split up into single vote increments.
- Votes left unused at the termination of the contest will be considered donations and will not be applied toward any single entry.
- All donations to the photo contest are final and non-refundable.
- Voting is only available online through this website.
- All donations are tax-deductible by law.
- An email address is required to make an online donation so a receipt with tax information can be sent to the donor.
- In the case of a tie (exact number of votes received) we will go with the order of finish in the contests' system. We have no control over how the system decides who finishes higher in the standings. Thank you for your understanding.
