What makes your nominee a superstar? Examples can include what makes them special, how they embrace what makes them unique, and what they do to inspire and empower the communityCinda is Girls on the Run's longest active volunteer! She uses her ability to talk to anyone, dedication, and persistence to help the community. She is also a superstar for the way she cares for her family. There is rarely a time she doesn't have one of her grandchildren with her.

How has your nominee engaged with Girls on the Run OR how have they inspired girls to be joyful, healthy and confident? Again, Cinda is Girls on the Run of Middle Tennessee's longest active volunteer, and she supported the council in Northeast Ohio for many years before coming to Middle TN. Cinda has served on both the 5K and Fundraising Committees for many years. At the 5K, she is known for running the merchandise table and securing cheering firefighters to be near the finish line with their truck. For the Fundraising Committee, Cinda is known as the "Giveback Guru". Cinda will identify and work with companies to create cause marketing partnerships to benefit GOTR. Her biggest contribution was through Altar'd State's Mission Mondays. Cinda went to several of their Middle TN stores to tell them about GOTR and how they should choose us as their quarterly partner. It's pretty hard to tell Cinda no! After convincing three locations to partner, GOTR received over $17,000 in just a few months. All credit goes to Cinda!
