Rules

• What are the Nominee Eligibility Requirements?
  • Age Requirements: Must be 21+
  • Residency: Must Live in Middle TN
  • An embodiment of the GOTR spirit: inspiring, joyful, positive, etc. 
  • No gender restrictions

• What are the requirements of the Superstar Awards?
  • Nominees must be aware of their nomination, and understand that their photo, as well as a short bio will be included on the Superstar Awards online voting platform and event social media through October 18th. 
  • Both Nominator and Nominee are aware and understand that the Superstar Sneaker Soiree is a signature fundraising event for Girls on the Run of Middle Tennessee (GOTRMIDTN). All funds raised will go to support girl scholarships and programming in our six Middle TN counties. The general public will vote for their preferred nominees by making a donation to GOTRMIDTN via the online voting platform. Each vote is a $1 donation. We ask that you help promote the contest and your nominee by sharing the link to vote with your network. Finalists will be determined based on the top 5 fundraisers/ vote getters by October 18th.  

   

  • How long is online voting?
    • Online voting will run through October 18th. You can vote as many times as you wish for your favorite Superstar. A minimum of a $1.00 donation is required to vote. The bigger the donation/gift the more votes for your finalists. 

     

  • How will the winner be chosen?
    • Our Superstar winner will be chosen from our 5 finalists at our Sneaker Soiree event at the Blind Barber on October 23rd by audience choice. So your Superstar nominee will want to have lots of familiar faces in the audience!
