Full Name of Your Superstar Nominee Victoria Vaughn


What makes your nominee a superstar? Examples can include what makes them special, how they embrace what makes them unique, and what they do to inspire and empower the communityVictoria is a great example to so many. She uses her passion for wellness to encourage so many others to be healthy and work towards their goals. First and foremost, she is a great example to her son. She also serves as an official ambassador for Black Girls Run Nashville. Not only does she build connections within the BGR community, but she brings many others together through wellness. You will find Victoria and other BGR members with community run clubs, charitable 5ks, and other community activities. She also became an ambassador for the Fleet Feet training club this year. Victoria will complete her first full marathon before the night of the Sneaker Soiree, and she shares every step of her journey to help motivate others to get started and to know that running is for every race and pace.

How has your nominee engaged with Girls on the Run OR how have they inspired girls to be joyful, healthy and confident? Victoria first joined Girls on the Run as a Running Buddy, completing a 5K from start to finish alongside one of the girls in our program. She then volunteered at a 5K before recently joining the 5K committee. She has promoted Girls on the Run in the community through her many connections, including Black Girls Run. Everything about Victoria is empowering others to be joyful, healthy and confident!
