Rules


 

Thank you for your interest in participating in CuteTah Utah’s cutest pet photo and calendar fundraiser! The fundraiser is a fun way to show off your furry friend - all while helping homeless animals in our community. All votes placed and all funds raised will help the Humane Society of Utah care for the community’s most vulnerable companion animals.

Rules/Guidelines:

1. There is a $10 entry fee for one pet per photo. Digital photos will be accepted online from Weds Aug 24, until Sept 7th, 2023, until 11:59:59 PM (MST).

 

2. Votes are $1 each, with a minimum of 5 votes per transaction. Votes will be accepted from Weds Aug 24, until Sept 7th, 2023, until 11:59:59 PM (MST). Votes may be applied to one entry or spread over several entries. You may submit as many entries as you like. 

 

3. All photos must be uploaded to my.360photocontest.com/utahhumane. Sorry, we cannot accept hard copies. If your entry was taken by a commercial studio or professional photographer, please include a signed copyright release from the photographer and email it to [email protected]. Images with logos and or watermarks will not be permitted. Horizontal (landscape) orientation is required as it is required for the pet of the month placement. 

 

4. Complete the online entry form and submit your photo in a JPEG, or PNG format. Photo size should 300 DPI for print quality.  All submitted photos are subject to review by the Humane Society of Utah for inappropriate/offensive content. Those entries will not be permitted.

 

5. Photos containing humans and multiple pets will not be accepted. Eligible entrants may submit more than one photo.

 

6. Incomplete and/or inaccurate entries and entries not complying with all rules are subject to disqualification.

 

7. All submitted photos and information become the property of the Humane Society of Utah to be used at its discretion for any and all CuteTah marketing purposes without any compensation.

 

8. All donations are non-refundable. Entries and donations must be made via the online contest page. All online payments are made through a secure site- both credit and debit card transactions will be accepted. The Humane Society of Utah is a 501(c) (3) organization. Donations are tax-deductible.

 

 9. Entrants/winners must be legal residents of the US at the time of the competition entry. Entrants/winners under the age of 18 must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

 

10. The Humane Society of Utah is not responsible for any technical problems or for late, incomplete, stolen, or misdirected entries.

 

11. In accepting a prize, the winner acknowledges that the Humane Society of Utah may not be held liable for any loss, damages, or injury associated with accepting or using prize(s).

 

12. Winners will be notified by e-mail no later than Monday, Sept 12th, 2023. 


 

 


 

Are you looking to add a new furry friend to your family? Join us from Aug 26th - 28th for Clear the Shelters adoption weekend! We will be offering name-your-price adoption fees on select pets as we try and find loving homes for all the animals in our care. We are located at 4242 South 300 West in Murray, UT. Our adoption lobby hours are 10 am - 7 pm.
