West Charleston Kiwanis Cutest Pet

Do you think you have a cute pet??

The Kiwanis Club of West Charleston is sponsoring the “Cutest Pet Contest”! To enter your pet or to vote for one of the competing pets, go to the URL above. Entering your pet is $10 and voting is $1 per vote (minimum of 10 votes). You can enter your pet starting October 25, 2020 and voting runs from November 1 through November 30, 2020.

The pet with the most vote wins first prize. You can see the prizes at the contest website above.

Our Kiwanis Cutest Pest Contest helps raise $5,000 for numerous Kiwanis Charities, including many organizations that focus on improving the lives of children and their families. This fundraiser, for example, will provide needed support for our Christmas Shopping Spree, to purchase clothing for needy children.

In 2019, the Kiwanis Club of West Charleston provided upwards of $30,000 in support of local children including over $15,000 in direct funding and more than $15,000 in service hours.

Recently the Kiwanis Club of West Charleston provided funds and/or service for:

Key Clubs (leadership development at Nitro High, Capital High, and Hurricane High Schools)
Mary C. Snow West Side Elementary’s Read-a-Book program
Clothing shopping spree, outfitting 50 children annually
UNICEF/Kiwanis Eliminate Program to eradicate neonatal tetanus
Lunches for West Side children participating in YMCA Summer Tennis Sessions
