Pet's Story or BioNicky is a 7 year-old cat with white fur, little black spots on his head and nose, a pink belly, and a short black tail who lives at the MetroWest Humane Society Shelter. Nicky was diagnosed with chronic nasal congestion as a kitten, so you may hear him snoring when he's sleeping. He lost all of his hearing as an adult, but his loud cries let visitors know when he wants attention. Although he has his "bad boy" moments (escaping from the adoptable room to pick on poor 18 year-old Casey), he also shows his affectionate side by licking volunteers' faces and giving head butts. His comical antics (trying to jump into closed cages head first!) keep the shelter volunteers entertained. He is pictured here on the left with his best friend Mabel, who came out of her shell after meeting this special boy, yet sadly passed away over a year ago. Nicky, you are our sweet, gentle shelter warrior!
