Rules
Submit your pet's photo for FREE and vote until Sunday, July 31, 2015 at 7 PM. Votes are $1 and you must purchase a minimum of 5 votes at a time.
Photos may contain more than one pet, but no humans please!
Contest opportunity is exclusive to house pets only (dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, mice, hamsters, guinea pigs, etc).
Entries must be submitted by the owner of the pet or with permission of the owner. If the photo was taken by someone other than the owner, permission must be granted from person who owns the photo. It is the responsibility of the person submitting the photo to make sure that permissions are in place.
Each $1 donation counts as a vote for that photo and donations are non-refundable. MC/VISA/Discover are accepted via a secure server. If you would rather pay by check, please contact the contest administrator at [email protected] for mailing instructions, or drop it off at the shelter during normal adoption hours, earmarked for the Calendar Contest. Note that the check must be received on or prior to Thursday, July 28.
All entries are subject to review, editing and removal by the MetroWest Humane Society.
To ensure that we are able to use your photo for publication, please make sure you submit a digital photo only with a file size of 2 MB or higher. (Regular photos developed from film and scanned generally will not print in a high enough quality to print and include in the calendar).
File sizes are automatically reduced when submitted to the live voting site, so at the end of the contest, the winning entries must email the original photo submitted to [email protected] within 7 days of the contest end in order for it to be able to be included in the calendar.
If you are one of the top 12 winners and the photo you submitted is poor quality (will not reproduce well in the calendar) and cannot be sufficiently improved for publication, we will alert you and give you an opportunity to send in a replacement photo of the same pet(s).
When registering/buying votes you agree to receive emails from the MetroWest Humane Society for contest publicity purposes.
