Calling all adventure dogs!

Are you the coolest, best-looking adventure pup in the Inland Northwest? We’re looking for you.

The search for the Coolest Dog in the Inland Northwest

Companions Animal Center, formerly the Kootenai Humane Society, is partnering with Big White Dog Photography to bring you a 2024 wall calendar full of the coolest, best-looking, most adventure dogs in the Inland Northwest.

All proceeds from entries, voting and calendar sales will assist Companion Animals Center in reaching their $8 million goal for the new care center in Hayden, Idaho.

How it works

Submit your favorite photo of your dog for $5 and then ask your family and friends to vote. Each vote is $1 and sold in packs of five. Please review the contest rules carefully for submission guidelines. Those that do not follow the guidelines will not be approved for voting.

The top 12 vote-getters will win a spot in the calendar, which will be created through a FREE portrait session with Big White Dog Photography at a pre-selected location in Spokane or Coeur d'Alene. Check the Prizes tab for more details.

Remember that all fees for photo entries and votes help Companion Animals Center continue their efforts to providing quality humane care, rehabilitation, adoption and education for the good of animals and their companions in our community.

Companions Animal Center is a 100% donation-funded, no-kill rescue and shelter.
