Rules

Entries:

1. Each entry costs $5.
2. Limit of ONE (1) pet per photo entry. 
3. People are not allowed in photos, only your pet. 
4. All photos must be uploaded; we cannot accept printed photos. 
5. No copyrighted or professional photos.
6. The submissions period starts on Wednesday, March 15, at 12:01 a.m. Pacific and ends on Friday, April 12, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific
7. Contest entry fees are tax deductible. The email acknowledgment to your online donation serves as your tax receipt.
8. Any photograph that includes content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent or obscene, as determined by Big White Dog Photography in its sole discretion, will be removed from the contest with no refund.
9. Posting more than one photo of your pet does not increase the chances of winning.
10. The winners of the photo contest will be determined by the top 13 entries that receive the most votes.
11. The same pet can only win once. Attempts to win two spots in the calendar by the same pet is not permitted.

Voting:

1. Each $1 counts as one (1) vote.
2. All donations from voting are non-refundable. Entries and donations must be made via the online contest page. Contest payments online are through a secure site.
3. Contest votes are tax deductible. The email acknowledgment to your online donation serves as your tax receipt.
4. All winners will be determined by electronic vote tabulations under the supervision of 360PhotoContest.com and Big White Dog Photography, whose decisions are final and binding.
5. The voting period starts on Wednesday, March 15, at 12:01 a.m. Pacific and ends on Wednesday, April 12, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific.

Calendar Photo Session:

1. The top 12 vote-getters will win a professional on-location photo session by Big White Dog Photography at a pre-selected location in the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene area during May through July for a professional on-location photo session.
2. If you are unable to commit to a photo session during those times or find yourself unable to travel to these pre-selected locations, you forfeit your winning and the next top vote-getter will take your pet's spot in the calendar. No exceptions.
3. Winners will be required to agree to Big White Dog Photography’s terms of service.
4. The top vote recipient will win the coveted cover photo for the 2024 Paws of the Inland Northwest calendar plus the month of their choice. The following 11 recipients with the most votes will be eligible to have their pet featured as a pet of the month.
5. No digital or physical prints are provided. They are available for purchase. No purchase is required to participate or win in this photo contest.
6. The photographer, Big White Dog Photography, will choose the best image of the pets to be used in the calendar.
   

The Fine Print:

1. By submitting a photo entry, you warrant and represent that your entry is your own original work created by you and that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to your entry materials. If you submit an entry that is copyrighted by another individual, you are responsible for any legal action the copyright holder takes against you.
2. Calendars will be available via online purchase to the general public in September 2023.
3. By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Companion Animals Center and Big White Dog Photography and each of their respective officers, directors, representatives, volunteers and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.
