NAMI Howard County's Pet Photo Contest
Do you want to win a “PAWesome” prize, show off your pet, AND support mental health in your community? You can do it all by entering our pet photo contest!
Studies show that pets can help us manage anxiety and depression, ease loneliness, and lead to overall better health. Pets support mental health, and now you can too!
NAMI Howard County is a local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). We provide FREE education, support groups, and mental health presentations to over 6,500 individuals and families affected by mental illness in Howard County each year.
We are asking you to show off your furry friends in our “Paws for a Cause” Pet Photo Contest! Anyone can participate in our contest. Simply submit a fun photo of your adorable pet, vote for your favorite photo(s), and share with family and friends! Proceeds from photo submissions and voting will support NAMI HC’s programs, outreach, and advocacy efforts.
How It Works
Submit your favorite photo of your pet(s)!
To submit a photo, visit the Entries page and click “Enter Contest”
Photo submissions are $10 per photo (you may submit as many as you’d like!)

Share the link to the contest with friends and family and encourage them to vote for your pet!
Votes are $1 each with a minimum purchase of 10 votes. (**Note: You can only vote for one photo per purchase.**)
The more you spread the word about your pet’s photo, the more votes you’ll get!
All voters will be entered into a raffle drawing to win voter prizes (one entry per $10 vote bundle)!

Donations are tax deductible by law. Please save your credit card receipts for your tax records. NAMI Howard County (NAMI HC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has provided support for individuals and families affected by mental illness since 1979 through its education classes, support groups, and community outreach and advocacy programs. NAMI HC is the leading advocate and resource regarding mental illness in Howard County. Our Federal tax identification number is 52-1623565.
