Share a fun fact about your pet:Melody loves to be chased and loves playing with her squeaky balls (bolitas) and watching TV. She follows commands in English and Spanish. Sometimes she may think she is a cat since she tries to climb trees to chase birds.

Why should people vote for your pet?She Melody is a Santa Fe Shelter puppy. We adopted her in October 2015 during a Santa Fe Shelter adoption event at the Pet Smart Parking lot. It was almost the end of the event, and she was the only puppy that had not been adopted. She looks so shy and calm. She immediately captured our hearts, so we decided to adopt her. But it did not take too long for her true colors to come out. We went to PetSmart to get her bed, toys and food. We put her inside the shopping cart. But it took a few seconds for her to try to escape. Little we knew that she was a very energetic puppy that loved to run and even more to be chased but literally has time to stop and smell the flowers. Her personality turned out to be a good match for us. We are very active and love the outdoors, cycling, running, hiking and long walks on our trails. She is a very curious and loving dog. She will turn 10 years old in August, and we are so blessed to have her in our family.
