Eligibility:
Artists of all ages are encouraged to participate.
Artists must be a resident of Delaware.
One submission per person is accepted.
To honor the creativity of Delaware artists, all submissions must be original works.
This is an online contest. Contestants must upload their entry and complete the entry questions to enter. YWCA Delaware will review all submissions and will decline any submissions that are not within the spirit of contest.
Rules:
Designs must be suitable for a general audience and depict a Juneteenth theme.
All artwork must be 100% original.
You may use any medium but the design must be submitted as a digital file (PDF or JPG).
Designs must fit on a standard T-shirt and should measure 12” x 12”.
A maximum of 4 colors may be used in the design (no gradients).
The YWCA Delaware logo must be incorporated into the design (see below).
The final color shirt will be determined based on the design.
Artists may use digital tools to create their work, but the concept, composition, and execution must be there own and created specifically for this contest
Entries that do not meet these rules will not be accepted.
The following are not eligble and will be disqualified:
Designs copied or minimally altered from Canva, stock graphics, or pre-made templates
Artwork generated wholly or partially using AI image generators (including but not limited to DALL·E, Midjourney, or similar platforms)
Designs that closely replicate existing artwork, logos, or previously published designs
How to Enter:
Create an original drawing or design that reflects the spirit of community and Juneteenth.
Take a photo or scan of your artwork. Upload your submission between April 18 - May 15, 2025.

Submission deadline is April 15, 2026. Voting is open April 16 - May 1, 2026.
By submitting, artists confirm that their design is original and that they hold full rights to the artwork.
