Your Pet's StoryMy parents Nancye and Duke Snyder adopted Buddy for the Southeast Beagle Rescue 2 years ago and he has been a blessing to the family since he entered their door. My parents are both retired and Buddy has been a great addition to this time of their lives. He is social and really keeps them entertained. He thinks my Mom is his playmate and they play chase all the time. He loves to just hang out and go on adventures with my Dad. My parents have many visitors to their home and Buddy is well loved by all. Buddy loves to go for walks and he has many friends in the neighborhood. He is great with little ones and loves other animals. Once while we were out, a child with special needs rushed up on him before his parents could stop him and Buddy just stopped in his tracks. I knelt down next to them and the little boy took about 5 minutes to just walked around to explore Buddy while the dog stood still until he was done. The parents explained their child had never been this close to a dog before and of coursed thanked us for stopping. Before they left they asked if they could a picture of their son with his new friend. It was a really sweet moment!
