PRIZES FOR TOP VOTES

The top 13 photo entries that received the most votes will be considered winners. The pet(s) in the entry with the most votes will be on the cover. The next 12 finalists will each receive a full-page feature in the  2016 'The Real HousePets of Sarasota County' Calendar. You also have the opportunity to win special prizes if your pet is in the top three!

The top 13 participants with the most votes will receive the following:

1st Place: Your pet will be part of a specially arranged photo shoot and will be featured on the cover of the Humane Society of Sarasota County’s 2016 'The Real HousePets of Sarasota County' Calendar. The winner will also receive two (2) standard seating tickets (valued at $500) to the 2016 Hot Dogs & Cool Cats Gala (November 12, 2016, at the Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota) and an HSSC t-shirt, magnet, and hat.

2nd Place: Your pet will be professionally photographed, and the photo will be featured in the 2017 'The Real HousePets of Sarasota County' Calendar in the month of your choice. The 2nd place winner will also receive two (2) tickets (valued at $250) to the 2017 Paws on the Catwalk Luncheon (April 20, 2017, at the Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota), a $50 gift certificate to PetSmart, and an HSSC t-shirt and magnet.

3rd Place: Your pet will be professionally photographed, and the photo will be featured in the 2017 'The Real HousePets of Sarasota County' Calendar in the month of your choice. The 3rd place winner will also receive a $25 gift certificate to PetSmart, a $25 gift certificate to the Humane Society of Sarasota County’s retail store, and an HSSC t-shirt.

All 13 winners will receive a complimentary 2017 "The Real HousePets of Sarasota County” Calendar. Contest winners will need to re-submit their photo to HSSC as a high-resolution, print-quality image.

Prizes are not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.

All submitted photos and information become the property of the Humane Society of Sarasota County, Inc. All entrants and winners of the contest grant the Humane Society of Sarasota County unlimited, non-exclusive rights to the photographs used in the calendar for all purposes without further compensation.

The Humane Society of Sarasota County, Inc., is not responsible for any technical problems or for late, incomplete, stolen, or misdirected entries.

Photo shoot times and availability depend on the photographer’s schedule.
