Your Pet's StoryBen is a mature terrier mix rescued by ARK animal rescue in Deland Fl (one day before he was to be terminated at a kill shelter) I fell in love with him the first time I saw his shaggy bodied, toothless photo. I knew we were meant to be together forever. He is much smarter than the average dog as he devises ways to get more treats. Unfortunately Ben has to have his food blended to liquid so he can eat it. Needless to say, my Ben gets a treat for eating his food (kind of like dessert). He has now devised a plan to let me know he is finished with half of the food left (so i give him his dessert) then he rushes back to eat the rest (and comes to me for dessert again!) He is such a riot! I love him for his great sense of humor. Anyway, we were playing on the floor recently and my cell phone fell out of my pocket. Ben went right over to the phone and took a selfie!! Needless to say,I was surprised at how human he has become. Next thing you know, he'll be posting his photos on Snapchat!!!
