Your Pet's StoryI went top the Humane Society with my Mom after deciding to adopt a dog - the only thing left to do was choose one. I had a chance to meet some characters but all were either a little too hyper, young or just not the right fit for me. I then came across Jolie cowering in the back of her cage, afraid to come out to anyone. I noticed immediately that she had been exposed to some very cruel people before being rescued. It broke my heart. I knew that she wasd the right one for me and that it was my duty henceforth to give her the best life I possibly could. Fast forward to a little over a year later and here we are. A team. Both of us recovered from troubling experiences (I recovered from addiction 2 years ago) and thriving. I couldn't imagine life without this little booger :) Jon
