Your ProfileI started painting and drawing before I went to school. I attended classes at the Toledo Museum of Arts from kindergarten through 8th grade. I taught art at Elementary and Middle school throughout my career. When my husband and I moved to Pinehurst I joined the Artists League of the Sandhills. I presently teach at the League, Belle Meade and Pine Knoll Retirement Villages.

Even though he was seriously wounded he ministered to one after another of the Marines who called him the "Grunt Padre." As he ran to help a wounded medic, a Vietcong machine gun's bullet took him down. His courage and service have been recognized by numerous medals, including the Congressional Medal of Honor.
