Your ProfileI've been a military spouse, of an active duty wounded warrior, for twelve years and I am a Mom to 3 beautiful little girls. I moved to North Carolina when I was 10 and love this state! I attended UNCW and ECU, but I stay at home with my girls so they can have a stable parent since my husband is often gone. I try to raise them with integrity, decency, compassion, respect, and love for others. My girls are my greatest joy.

The Story Behind Your PaintingI don't get out a lot, so when the opportunity came up for a local wine and design night, I asked a girlfriend to go out with me. It was a nice change to just go out and relax... to have me time. I cannot take credit for the overall design of this painting- so I will not. The design was given by Wine and Design and I put my own touches on it. The paint is my work and that's all I can take credit for. I wanted to participate to help a wonderful organization raise money for Veterans. Should this design win, any money will be turned back over to A Stroke of Patriotism.
