Your ProfileI am a litigation paralegal by career but enjoy photography and painting as hobbies. The majority of my art is photography but I dabble in painting every so often as I enjoy the creativity of it. I enjoy painting abstracts because it leaves interpretation to the viewer of the art.

The Story Behind Your PaintingI was inspired by a photograph I took years ago of hundreds of flags on Memorial Day on the grounds of the Airborne and Specials Ops Museum in Fayetteville. I come from a military background with several family members and friends who are veterans and active duty so the military and veterans hold a special place in my heart. The American Flag embodies patriotism at its finest as it captures the honor and respect to be shown to soldiers, veterans and their families who have made sacrifices for our country.
