Your ProfileI paint for joy. If my paintings touch a chord for you, then I am pleased. Art has always been an important part of my life. However, it was not until my retirement that I started painting. It has changed my life and opened my eyes to the beauty of the world. Finding the artists' community that is the Artists League of the Sandhills has been important in my progress as an artist. I thank the artist friends and instructors there, as well as those that I have taken artistic direction from throughout the community.

The Story Behind Your PaintingOur American flag stirs great emotion in many of us. I hope I have portrayed it in a living, organic way.
